I AM NOT PERFECT.

NEVER HAVE BEEN, NEVER WILL.

AND THAT’S FINE BY ME. For people who constantly try to grasp this perfection that is portrayed in magazines with celebrities and models: those images are fake and unrealistic. This perfection that people seem to long for doesn’t exist. Those seemingly perfect celebrities have professional make-up artists and stylists to make sure that they have a glossy appearance any time they step out in public. The images you see in magazines are altered with Photoshop. Every single person has flaws, so trying to achieve this ideal way of looking and ultimate perfection doesn’t even make sense. Striving to meet that perfection is damaging to a person’s self worth because the reality of it all is that there is no such thing as perfect.  Perfection is an idea accepted by the media that is realistically unreachable.

BE PERFECTLY IMPERFECT.
